Admission Process

Admission to all 3 branches of the school, Lucknow/Ghaziabad is open to all who fulfil the entry requirements, followed by Entrance Test and Subsequent Interview. Normally, admissions are open for Montessori and Nursery each year, while admissions to other classes depend on vacancies. Since there are only a few seats vacant for upper classes, admissions are on: Merit basis.

Procedure & Age Requirements

Application for admission must be made on the prescribed application form given along with the prospectus and should be filled up after reading the instructions carefully.
Children of 3+ and 4+ years as on 01 April of the academic session, are considered eligible for admission to Classes Montessori and Nursery, respectively.

Entrance Details

  • Admission to Classes Montessori, Nursery and Kindergarten is done on the basis of interaction with the child and the parents.
  • Written Entrance Tests are held in English and Mathematics for Classes I to V and for English, Mathematics & Science for Classes VI to IX.
  • Admission is granted on the basis of Entrance Test and subsequent Interview with the student, accompanied by his/her parents.
  • Provisional Admission to Class XI is made in the month of April on the basis of the result of the Pre-Board Examination of the last school attended subject to Board Results.

Entry Requirements

The following documents are necessary at the time of Admission:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Duly filled Application Form with Photographs
  • Result of the last School attended (for Classes K.G to IX & XI)
  • Transport form (Optional)
  • PEN No. (Class 2 onwards)

  • School fees are to be paid in full. Part payment is not accepted.
  • Payments are acceptable in Cash, Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Cheque. The last date of payment by cheque drawn on a local bank is 5th of every payment due date. The last date of payment by cash is the 7th of every payment due date.
  • There must be a separate cheque or demand draft for each child. Cheques and drafts are to be drawn in favour of "Modern Academy".
